This course is designed to provide dentists with a comprehensive understanding of burnout, its causes and symptoms, and effective strategies for its prevention and management. Burnout is a pervasive issue within the dental profession, characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and a reduced sense of personal accomplishment. Dentists face unique stressors in their practice, including high patient volume, demanding work schedules and the pressure to maintain clinical excellence while managing administrative tasks. This course will focus on case studies, zoning in on pain points inherited in dentistry through interactive discussions. Participants will explore the psychological, social and organizational factors contributing to burnout among dentists.
